Weekend Days
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate nursing care to our residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.
Every day, you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care.
To be successful in this role, you will exhibit genuine compassion for patient well-being, an understanding of your critical role in ensuring their comfort, and the patience to explain procedures, answer questions, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Identifying and managing a patient crisis until RN / Physician assistance is available.
- Identifies practice abilities and limitations according to Scope of Practice.
- Obtains instruction, delegation and supervision by an RN.
- Recognizes and performs duties which are needed even when not directly assigned.
- Administers medications accurately and safely: following five rights, monitoring adverse effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, toxicity, and incompatibilities.
- Reports occurrences/complaints, following appropriate chain of command.
Job Requirements
Required
- Diploma Of Nursing Nursing Education for Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited nursing program.Nursing Education for Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited nursing program., upon hire and

- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Preferred
- Six months experience in clinical setting.
