Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Imaging Professional, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Every day, you will expertly execute diverse specialized imaging procedures, assisting physicians, meticulously monitoring patients, and precisely operating sophisticated equipment for critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.
A steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of utmost importance
- Use two patient Identifiers
- Compare Doctor’s order to requisition for accuracy
- Assess patient for ability to walk treadmill or use pharmacologic testing and take accurate medical history.
- Perform stress testing on Outpatients and Inpatients using either treadmill or pharmacologic agents following the department stress testing protocols..
- Inject radiopharmaceuticals using ALARA principles and properly dispose of radioactive waste, contaminated IV lines and spent radiopharmaceuticals.
- Routinely demonstrates the ability to prioritize workload.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, upon hire and
- Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
Preferred
- At least one year of Cardiac experience and
- EKG training or experience and
- Experience in working in Emergency room or ICU
