The posted compensation range of $27.97 - $41.60 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Surgical Technologist, you will help surgical patients feel safe and cared for so they can undergo their procedures with confidence and in a sterile environment.
Every day you will prepare the operating room for surgical procedures. You will be expected to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely, prepare sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment using sterile technique, and anticipate and respond efficiently to usual and unexpected events during the surgical procedure. You will also handle and process surgical specimens according to established policy/procedure and serve as a preceptor for new staff and students.
To be successful in this role, you must be a Certified Surgical Technician, demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology, and possess the ability to maintain a sterile environment.
Job Requirements- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification in Surgical Technology
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
