The posted compensation range of $18.96 - $26.78 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Full time: Days with call requirements
As an Endoscopy Tech, you will provide crucial technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency.
Every day you will meticulously prepare, maintain, and sterile process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in sterile processing, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes.
- Prepares room for procedure.
- Communicates with patient, nurse and physician to determine which supplies and equipment are needed for the individual procedure and has these available.
- Assists in preparing and positioning patient for procedure and assist the proceduralist during the procedure.
- Maintains aseptic or clean techniques for self and team as appropriate.
- Responsible for cleaning and stocking rooms.
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing and/or disposing of equipment and accessories, as indicated.
Required
- High School Graduate or
- High School GED and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
