The posted compensation range of $33.84 - $50.34 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinical Educator is a Registered Nurse who has direct accountability for leadership of Nursing Education within the CHI Memorial Health System (CommonSpirit Health). The Clinical Educator is assigned specific
teaching responsibilities for onboarding/orientation of new associates (RN, LPN, NT, PCT) within assigned units,
regularly scheduled required classes, in addition to assessing, developing and implementing education for the
needs of individual units in assigned areas.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors of Nursing (24 months grace period) and Three years of experience developing curriculum incorporating simulation, case studies, lectures, etc. based on needs assessments and learners’ knowledge and skill base., upon hire and
- Three years of experience in trending data and writing and implementing action plans. and
- Experience in selection of equipment and supplies to be used in the orientation, onboarding, and education of RNs and
- Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
- Masters of Nursing Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
- Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I) Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLS-I) Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (PALS-I) Preferred
