Responsibilities

Employee Health Medical Assistant

Responsible for assisting Employee health in providing quality patient care.

  1. Collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.
  2. Maintain patient flow through the clinic.
  3. Pull patient voicemails and process messages to the nurses as appropriate.
  4. Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring appropriate labs are ordered as needed and protocol is followed.
  5. Assist nurses with patient messages as necessary.
  6. Assist nurses with reviewing physician blue book as necessary.
  7. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent 

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program

AHA BLS

AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA, NCCT-NCMA, or NHA-CCMA certification
