Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • As our Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations, you will help the assigned pharmacy facilityplan, supervise, and evaluate daily operations so they can provide professional, effective, efficient, safe, and accurate pharmaceutical care activities and services.
  • Every day you will ensure the provision of professional, effective, efficient, safe, and accurate medication distribution practicesYou will be expected to plan and evaluate day-to-day operations to meet financial objectives, oversee daily workload and staffing levels, oversee the workflow of subordinate staff, ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, and perform all pharmacist department activities, as necessary.
  • To be successful in this role, you must be responsible for meeting financial objectives in labor, revenue and gross margins, evaluating department effectiveness, ensuring optimum staffing levels, overseeing the workflow of subordinate staff, and meeting regulatory requirements and standards.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., Pharm.D.) .
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program.
  • Pharmacist: AZ (PHARM:AZ)
  • Registered Pharmacist license. Oversight for an acute care facility requires licensure in the state in which you practice.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience or successful completion of a Pharmacy Administrative Residency
