The posted compensation range of $21.71 - $21.71 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position floats between Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. This role is PRN (Per Diem/As Needed).

- The Patient Care Technician performs patient related care tasks, such as EKGs and blood glucose monitoring, obtaining and recording patient vital signs.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides direct patient care under supervision of Nurse.
- Monitors and records daily intake and output and communicates patient needs and observed/reported changes in patient condition to supervising Nurse or Physician.
- Assists Physician/Nurse with diagnostic tests, clinical procedures, and other tasks as requested.
- Documents all interactions in patient's medical record.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
- Completion of first block of nursing school
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS card
- Knowledgeable in medical terminology
Preferred:
- Two (2) year acute care experience.
- Previous experience with a patient care module or personal computer.
