Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will provide clinical expertise, support and oversight that helps ensure our Surgery patients receive exceptional care. Level One Trauma Center, 1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio, Staffed 24x7 by certified Intensivist, Shared Governance (house wide and unit based), Opportunity for growth & ability to cross train within ICU (Trauma, Neuro, Surgical, Medical, CVICU), 32 Medical / Surgical Beds, 17 Trauma Beds, 5 CVICU Beds, State of the Art equipment, Self-Scheduling. Responsibilities may include:

  •  Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

Qualifications

Two years ICU/ER acute care minimum required.

ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent.

RN:AZ; BLS-CPR; ACLS -- within 6 months of hire

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,500 employees and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center and many additional services.
