The posted compensation range of $18.15 - $23.14 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Endoscopy Tech, you will provide crucial technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency.
Every day you will meticulously prepare, maintain, and sterile process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in sterile processing, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes.
- Assists nursing staff in providing patient care, assists in meeting patient and family education needs and maintains continuity of care by processing patient records accurately and promptly from admission to discharge.
- Communicates regularly with the Clinical Supervisor and other supervisory personnel about technical issues in the Endoscopy Department. Relays verbal and written information in a timely manner.
- Serves as a resource to the Endoscopy staff members.
- Demonstrates effective communication techniques to constructively address and resolve conflicts.
- Supports an open team environment to encourage the expression of creative ideas.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of normal gastrointestinal and pulmonary anatomy and physiology.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate or equivalent and One (1) year experience in a healthcaresetting, upon hire or
- High School GED or equivalent and One (1) year experience in a healthcaresetting, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in theEndoscopy setting as an EndoscopyTechnician
