Responsibilities
Position Summary:
An intermediate Cardiovascular Technologist will provide excellent service to patients in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Cath lab working with physicians fellow employees and hospital staff.
- Functions as the scrub and/or radiologic technologist for all procedures as well as pulling supplies following radiation safety practices and patient safety.
- Have knowledge and competencies of Radiologic Technologist acts as a preceptor; maintains proficiency in life saving equipment; and collaborates with providers equipment/product changes.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience.
- Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program.
- ADHS Bureau of Special Licensing -Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) CI VI or CV.
- Has and maintains AHA certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Computer skills including MS Office Suites or Google Work Space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a specialty area or high acute facility.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College.
- Registered cardiovascular electrophysiology specialist (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
