The ideal candidate to identify, abstract, and report oncology cases as directed by the CCCR and ACOS. Key responsibilities include analyzing and preparing reports for medical and administrative staff regarding oncology services. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the coordination of Cancer Committee and Tumor Board activities.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare related field with at least two years management experience
  • HS/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field required
  • Certified Tumor Registrar preferred. Must obtain CTR within 18 months of hire
  • 1 year experience in a Cancer Registry OR CTR in Lieu of Experience Specialized Knowledge: Anatomy/physiology, Medical Terminology
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and have the skills and to lead a small business
  • Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics

Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
