The posted compensation range of $26.76 - $39.81 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays and cross train to CT/CAT scans if needed, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
What you'll do...
- Utilize innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
- Act professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience.
- Correctly operates fixed x-ray equipment, and portable x-ray machines as well as bone density scans, EKG's and heart monitors.
- Obtain quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers and shielding.
- Utilize electronic health record.
- Utilize PACs system and all the essential functions of the system.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
- Associate's Degree (2 year program) or equivalent.
- Medical Radiographer: ND (MRAD:ND)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) within 12 - months of start date
