The posted compensation range of $47.41 - $70.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the NICU Manager/Director, the NICU RT Supervisor/Educator has the overall responsibility for the educational development and growth of the NICU Respiratory Therapists and the patient population served by the NICU. Acts as the designated functional lead with oversight of the day to day activities of the department operations and team members. Provides management support to plan, organize, and lead resources with assigned team members. This includes education of current staff and patients with existing programs as well as new program implementation and consistent reassessment and revision within our changing health care environment. The NICU RT Supervisor/Educator performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies.
The NICU RT Supervisor/Educator plans directs, manages/conducts, and evaluates educational activities and programs which include general and mandatory education, competencies, and orientation. In addition, he/she provides support and direction for patient management and standards for quality patient care. The NICU RT Supervisor/Educator participates in quality initiatives, as well as business and marketing development for the NICU outreach program and multidisciplinary collaboration efforts. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles with the Mission, Vision, and Commitments of Dignity Health.

Preferred
- Bachelors Other in Respiratory Therapy or Computer related Field, upon hire
