The posted compensation range of $59.57 - $69.06 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
The incumbent performs general radiographic procedures as well as more complex procedures according to written or transcribed verbal orders of a physician within the scope of his/her certification at all MHS facilities according to established standards and practices under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor and the Medical Director. Demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Other duties are assigned/approved by the Supervisor. Technologist can be required to participate in the department's call schedule to ensure coverage weeknights, weekends and holidays.
As our Special Proc Technologist, you will be a vital clinical professional, applying specialized X-ray energy for patient diagnosis or treatment. Every day, you'll meticulously perform complex radiological procedures and techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You'll ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning, operating advanced equipment with precision and upholding imaging standards. To be successful, you'll combine strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
Job Requirements
- California State Department of HealthServices certification as a CertifiedRadiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Current California license as certifed Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopic permit.
- Medical Radiographer: CA.
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA.
Preferred
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
