The posted compensation range of $38.34 - $57.03 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist, you will help patients receive accurate diagnostic medical imaging so they can get the care they need.
Every day, you will perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures. You will be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, assist in prepping patients for examinations, relay instructions from the radiologist, and document patient data and care in the medical record.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a thorough understanding of your professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and satisfactorily complete the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period.
Job Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiolologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program
- Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA BLS)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety is required
- Impact of Decisions: Serious impact on patient relationships, patient outcomes, physician efficiency, stewardship of clinic resources, and our image in the community
- Internal/External Contacts: Patients, physicians and other clinic staff, hospital staff, patient family members and vendors
- Supervision: Reports to the department Chief Technologist/Manager; does not supervise others
- One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment is preferred
- Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS is preferred
- ARRT Certification
