The posted compensation range of $49.44 - $49.44 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our OR Technician/Surgical Technician, you will help the surgical team and patients execute safe and efficient surgical procedures so they can achieve successful patient outcomes and maintain a sterile environment.
Every day you will prepare for and assist in surgical procedures using aseptic techniques, ensuring the operating room is ready and sterile. You will be expected to precisely manage instruments, supplies, and specimens, actively participate in surgical procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong psychomotor and technical skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, clear and effective communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and continuous professional development.
Job Requirements- Operating Room Technician in an acute care setting or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with externship at Mercy San Juan Main OR., upon hire and
- 1 year (When the unit is staffed with enough experienced surgical techs to support a recent graduate of a surgica ltech program or internship, applicants without the requisite experience may be considered), upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR - authorized by the American Heart Association, upon hire
