The posted compensation range of $26.76 - $39.81 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Works under the direction of the Rehab Manager to participate in the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing sustainability of the facility's progressive mobility programs. Provides support to the safe patient handling, rehab, nursing, and respiratory teams to facilitate and coordinate the resources and staff needed to safely engage patients in early and ongoing progressive mobility programs. Assists the facility in establishing a culture of safety by educating staff on the decision-making process related to the utilization of safe patient handling equipment when mobilizing patients.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate general studies and Two years of direct patient care in the last three years., upon hire or
- High School GED general studies and Two years of direct patient care in the last three years., upon hire and
- Experience using safe patient handling equipment and a strong background in understanding its value and impact on reducing injuries and patient outcomes and
Licensure and Certifications
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Certified Nursing Assistant: CA
- Athletic Trainer: CA
- Occupational Therapy Assistant: CA
- Physical Therapy Assistant: CA
Preferred
- Experience in providing education,training, and providing care in the acutehospital or critical care settings
