Responsibilities
The Apprentice Engineer provides a variety of maintenance skills development including preventive maintenance and repairs to the building and grounds, related fixed and portable equipment, and installation under the supervision of the Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Engineer, while successfully performing the Apprentice Program.applies DIGNITY HEALTH Core Values to the performance of every job duty.
- Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and
courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to see identification - Works with minimal supervision
- Organizes and completes assigned work in a timely manner
- Addresses duties and interactions with all internal and external customers as committed to Core Values
- Fosters a cooperative effort in meeting the goals of the team and sharing the workload.

Qualifications
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field (preferred).
Education:
- Acceptance into & successful active participation within the I.U.O.E. Stationary Engineers Local 39 Union Engineer Apprenticeship program.
Licensure:
- Valid California Drivers License.
Training:
- Completion of annual safety training.
- Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
