Ultrasound Technician II
The posted compensation range of $65.83 - $78.88 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.
- Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment
- Demonstrates knowledge of Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional
Qualifications
- More than one year experience in Abdomen or OB/GYN
- Must be current with continuing education units required by the licensing board of the ARDMS
- Must have a current CPR/BLS and ARDMS certification
- Must be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy, as well as physiology
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer venous Doppler, Color Doppler, Neurosonography and Interventional Procedures
- ARDMS certified in physics and one other area, preferably abdomen or OB/Gyn preferred
- Active member of a major diagnostic professional society preferred
This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
