The posted compensation range of $43.94 - $62.74 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Work includes but is not limited to
- Reviewing and/or recording pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data;
- Preparing patients for testing
- Using C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography to perform exams and procedures and obtain a record of data for interpretation by provider;
- Participating in cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
Cardiovascular Tech Non-Registered is a temporary classification for employees who have graduated from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology but for whom Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is pending at the time of hire. Employees have six months from the date of hire to obtain the requisite registration.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols.
- Delivers patient care for all age groups while performing exams/procedures.
- Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.
- Performs incidental general office duties to include, but not limited to:
- Answer phones; inventory management.
- Inventory/stocking of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, and one year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training; OR
- Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
Licensure/Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS), with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in the state of Washington, OR
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and State of Washington Certification.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- ACLS certification required.
- Cardiovascular Technologist Cert: Must possess Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
