Registered Respiratory Therapist
As our Registered Respiratory Therapist at St.Joseph Health, you will help with respiratory care including treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system.
Every day you will provide care to those suffering from acute and chronic respiratory problems.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Educates and instructs patient, patient's family, and team members on therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to ensure excellent communication to all customers.
- Performs physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing
- Administering medical gas therapy including oxygen and Helium-Oxygen Therapy
- Performing ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems.
- Administering therapy modalities which include, but are not limited to, Hand held Nebulizer, HHN via metered
dose inhaler, Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation, Chest Physical Therapy, Pentamidine
therapy.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Completion of respiratory care degree program
- Texas RCP license
- RRT
- American Heart Association BLS card
