The posted compensation range of $27.97 - $41.60 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
- Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Assist radiologist with interventional CT imaging procedures, starting IV`s, and injecting contrast, if applicable
- Maintains equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care
Job Requirements
Required:
- Must have completed an accreditied Radiology Program
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in Radiology
- Medical Radiographer - (MRAD:TX)
- CPR-BLS - With American HEart Association
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT)
