Clinical Pharmacist
The posted compensation range of $46.74 - $67.77 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates ability to document clinical activities and interventions such as consults, patient teachings and other patient specific information.
- Interprets medication orders and/or prescriptions for drug interactions and appropriate drug selection. Accurately enters / verifies the order or prescription into the computer system.
- Verifies and checks medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
- Resolves drug related problems by consulting with other health care professionals to achieve appropriate patient outcomes. Unclear orders written by a licensed provider are clarified with the licensed provider.
- Achieves and maintains an adequate basic knowledge base to provide clinical services for all age groups served. Provides basic clinical services as required by policy and procedure.
- Responsible for technician activities, performance, provides direction and guidance as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor or Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- One (1) year of pharmacist experience + certification
Required Licensure:
- Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the state in which the employee works
- Board Certification in a Pharmacy Specialty, based on the specialty title under which the employee works
- BLS-CPR
