As our Clinical Pharmacist in you will oversee all medication storage and preparation St. Joseph Health System.

You'll build trust in these interactions by reviewing every prescription in your queue. We never rely entirely on the computer to check for safety; we always use an expert for the final check. That’s you. You'll review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything that looks unusual in your opinion.

Responsibilities
- Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department by supervising pharmacy technicians
- Maintains current knowledge of all drugs to be the Drug Information Specialist for all disciplines in the hospital as well as for the patients
- Understand how to access and operate any Automated Dispensing Machines, UD pre-packaging, or any other equipment in the pharmacy
- Performs drug utilization reviews
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Education:
- Bachelor’s Science in Pharmacy from ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Licensed Pharmacist
