The posted compensation range of $30.76 - $45.76 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Angiography Tech, you will operate diagnostic equipment and perform a variety of technical angiography procedures.
Every day you will provide patient orientation, explain procedures, and deliver pre and post-diagnostic care until test completion. This includes positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and meticulously documenting findings.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate technical proficiency in angiography, strong attention to detail for equipment operation and documentation, and excellent patient communication skills to ensure comprehensive diagnostic imaging tests.
- Performs angiography exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols
- Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
- Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or Clinical Engineering regarding equipment problems
- Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure
- Completes all quality checks and ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Completes all clinical supply inventory, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
Job Requirements
Required:
- Associates - Completion of an accredited Radiology program
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Radiology
- One of the following: CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, RVT
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
- BLS-CPR (AHA), within 14 days of hire
- Medical Radiographer: TX
