Angiography Technologist Lead

The Angiography Tech Lead will lead and coordinate the daily operations of technologists within the Interventional Radiology department. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits. Operates diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical angiography procedures within the Interventional Radiology section. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, and calibration of equipment and documentation of findings.

Responsibilities:
- Performs all duties of an Angiography Technologist within the Interventional Radiology Department
- Prepares procedure protocols for new procedures, and keeping current protocols up to date
- Oversees clinical supply inventory. Researches and obtains new supplies as needed
- Trains and educates other personnel in their duties to ensure that staff are knowledgeable and competent
- Maintains Technologist schedule to ensure that the appropriate number of staff are available as needed to keep the department operating within productivity standards
- May rotate shifts or be in an “on call” status as needed or directed by the organization
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Three(3) years of experince in Radiology
- Complete an accredited Radiology program
Required Licensure:
- One of these certifications - CNMT/RDMS/RTR/RVT/RTCT
- MRAD - Texas
- BLS - AHA
- ACLS - Within 90 days of hire
