Angiography Technologist Lead
The posted compensation range of $30.47 - $44.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Angiography department; will need to complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame, and must be flexible with his/her work schedule. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

Responsibilities
1. Supervisory and leadership skills needed to mentor other technologists.
2. Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of Angio equipment.
3. Knowledge of Angio examinations as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents.
4. Ability to manage patients during complex Angio procedures exams such biopsies, drainages, etc.
5. Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
6. Knowledge and practice of the ALARA (As low as reasonably achievable) standards when performing exams.
7. Knowledge of patient transfer and positioning techniques,
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
9. Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.
10. Provide general oversight of inventory, scheduling staff and managing board/schedule.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R ); must maintain current
- Certified by the State of Texas ‐ MRT
- American Heart Association BLS card
- Three (3) years of experience
