The posted compensation range of $24.13 - $36.51 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

The Paramedic provides safe and effective care for patient(s) within the scope of practice, in accordance with physician’s orders, established standards and administrative policies, as part of the health care team. The Hospital Inpatient Paramedic also:
- Functions under the direction of the hospital based Medical Director, who will be the Paramedic Medical Director.
- The lead Paramedic coordinates the daily activities of the paramedic staff so that all processes are completed accuratley.
- Follows the Medical Director's determined scope of practice for the Paramedic within the Acts Allowed specified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
- Oversees all first aid room functions to ensure high quality standars are met regarding servicing the needs of patients, physicians, regulatory agencies, outside entities and all internal departments.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an Emergency Department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment
- Strong communication skills; Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program, recognized by
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) - Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public
Health and Environment (CDPHE) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
