The posted compensation range of $35.62 - $52.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Director of Long Term Care, you will provide compassionate leadership and strategic oversight, profoundly impacting the quality of life and comprehensive care for residents within our long-term care facility.
Every day you will expertly manage daily operations, lead and mentor dedicated care teams, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and meticulously foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding managerial skills, strong empathy, and a proactive, resident-centered demeanor, contributing significantly to the well-being, dignity, and satisfaction of our long-term care community.
- Responsibility to LTC Services
- Supervision of other long-term care departments as assigned
- High degree of responsibility for resident and employee safety
- Responsible, in part, for the financial control of personnel, supplies, and charges that must be made to patient’s account for service received.
- Must assure that the unit meets standards set by the State Department of Health.
- Provide tools for nursing staff to assess, monitor, and communicate changes in a resident’s condition that could impact the need for antibiotics
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school of nursing and
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing and
- 3-5 years of experience in leadership
- Registered Nurse: MN, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
