The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $19.82 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
- Transports in-patients and emergency room patients to Radiology by stretcher, wheelchair or walking as directed by the patient care staff.
- Participates in all National Patient Safety Goals as they apply to patient care including; use of at least two patient identifiers, proper hand washing, and all other goals established by the Joint Commission and CMS as they are updated.
- Proper assessment of the patient and their abilities to ambulate per orders.
- Reports any equipment malfunctions or items in need of repair to supervisor, manager or director.
- Receives, prioritizes and responds to incoming calls as appropriate.
- Uses CHI incident reporting system to report any patient injuries or concerns, equipment or supply failures or malfunctions
- Understands and will participate in system support of other campuses/sites during staffing shortages providing coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
- Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
- Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members
