Patient Companion - Be a Vital Part of Our Care Team! (Full-Time)
Are you a compassionate and vigilant individual seeking to provide crucial support to patients in a healthcare setting? We're looking for a dedicated Full-Time Patient Companion to help ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
In this essential role, you will:
- Provide Direct Patient Safety: Specifically monitor patients who may be confused, impulsive, at risk for injury, or require close observation.
- Support Under RN Direction: Work closely with a Registered Nurse to create a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Deliver Compassionate Care: Offer companionship and emotional support, contributing to the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological well-being of patients.
- Documentation & Communication: Accurately document observations and communicate effectively with clinical staff.
- Respond to Needs: Set priorities for response and support clinical staff in emergency situations.
- Uphold Our Mission: Contribute to the core values of CHI Health by fostering a collaborative and safe environment.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- BLS certification required within 14 days of employment.
- Mandatory Adult/Child Abuse Reporting (APS-IA & NE) within 6 months of employment.
