What You'll Do & Why It Matters:
You'll be a key architect in fulfilling CHI Health's mission and vision, spearheading the planning, development, and oversight of initiatives within our inpatient, emergency department, and skilled nursing facilities. Job Requirements
What You'll Bring (Qualifications):
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degreewith a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, OR
- A minimum of5 years of leadership experiencein the discipline, OR
- Master’s Degree(no prior experience required for Master's level candidates).
Licensure & Certifications:
- BLS certificationis required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies include:
- American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- American Safety and Health Institute: CPR/PRO (must specify “Professional Level-with AED”)
- American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities for Success:
- Deep understandingof ambulatory behavioral care principles and practices.
- Expert knowledgeof applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards governing behavioral health services.
- Proven project management abilitiesto drive initiatives from inception to completion.
- Exceptional communication skills– articulate, persuasive, and able to inspire collaboration.
- Strategic planning acumento foresee challenges and chart effective courses of action.
- Skilled in change management, guiding teams through transitions with confidence and clarity.

Preferred Experience & Expertise:
- Five years of progressive work experience, including at least two years in a leadership role within an inpatient or outpatient behavioral health environment.
- Comprehensive knowledgeof the full continuum of behavioral health services and administration.
- Advanced understandingof all relevant behavioral health laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards.
