The posted compensation range of $21.88 - $30.91 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Supervises, coordinates and assigns work of employees and supervisors to assure customer service. Completes, approves, and tracks receipts, reports, evaluations, and quality reviews for the department. Maintains inventory of department equipment. Provides training as needed to staff. Identifies new equipment and products.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Guides, directs and motivates EVS associates and supervisors to maintain excellent customer service and cleaning practices
- Coordinate with other departments to assure efficiency and timeliness
- Performs associate performance evaluations and deals with performance issues
- Completes EVS invoice processing
- Completes linen reports and files the reports
- Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies
- Follows up on customer complaints and responds with solutions/resolutions
- Maintains associate work schedules and assignments to assure good productivity
- Performs quality reviews and inspects work documenting appropriately
- Conducts other duties as needed guided by the facilities director
- Maintains records of biohazard disposal and other waste streams including shredding affidavits
- Responsible for hiring and disciplining associates
Qualifications
Required Education (for CHI Leadership Job Levels from Supervisor through President) | Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Manager – Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Infection Control knowledge through cleaning practices, Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and EVS scheduling software. Communicate effectively in English both in writing and orally. Ability to recognize a problem before it becomes a problem. Ability to maintain and convey service standards. Demonstrates personal integrity. EVS equipment knowledge. Cleaning chemical safety. Department policies and practices. HR policies |
