As an Invasive Tech in our Cardiac Cath Lab, You Will:
- Be a Cardiovascular Expert:Utilize your strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases to interpret data, recognize potential implications, and anticipate physician needs during complex procedures.
- Provide Hands-On Support:Skillfully assist physicians during procedures, including setting up sterile trays, preparing skin with aseptic technique, and administering contrast.
- Ensure Patient Safety:Apply manual pressure for hemostasis, proficiently assist with CPR, defibrillation, and Ambu as needed, and adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
- Optimize Operations:Maintain inventory, manage supplies, and work efficiently to ensure a smooth and productive schedule, communicating effectively with team members.
- Educate & Assist:Provide patient education related to procedures and perform other duties as assigned to enhance overall patient care and department efficiency.

Qualifications
Required Education
1. Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology -
Invasive Program (Associate of Applied Science) AND Obtain
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) licensure
within ONE year
OR
2. Graduate from a School of Radiological Technology AND
member of the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Board of
Examiners (NDMIRT)
Required Licensure and Certifications
1. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) within 480 hours of
employment and with re-certification as required.
2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently to perform standard and
complex procedures under minimum direction.
PREFERRED Qualifications
- Preferred one year experience as an RT or CVT/RCIS within a
cardiac environment.
