The posted compensation range of $29.03 - $40.70 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our CT Technologist, you will help stroke victims receive immediate and expert stroke care, including rapid diagnosis via mobile CT scanning, so they can reduce death and long-term disability. Every day you will perform CT scanning and specialized work-ups. You will be expected to perform CT scans based on current protocols, accurately complete perfusions and reconstructions, and thoroughly document all required forms. To be successful in this role, you must be a registered CT Technologist, providing imaging services and contributing to the goal of high-quality patient care.
- Advanced Imaging & Quality Control: Masterfully executes high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures with technical precision, and critically evaluates images for optimal diagnostic quality
- Expert Positioning & Protocol Execution: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of patient positioning for all exams and exhibits proficiency in all CT exam protocols
- Contrast Administration & Management: Evaluates imaging orders for contrast use, skillfully administers contrast material (including IV placement and power injector operation), and dispenses oral contrast
- Patient Safety & Compassionate Care: Ensures adherence to the highest standards of radiation safety and consistently delivers exceptional patient care throughout all procedures
- Operational & Administrative Excellence: Maintains accurate patient records, upholds HIPAA standards, manages inventory, stocks the CT room, and ensures a clean, disinfected work environment
- Diverse Clinical & Support Functions: Performs EKGs, participates in on-call duties, conducts routine equipment maintenance, and assists with gathering Quality Assurance (QA) data

Job RequirementsRequired
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Ongoing CT specified education including radiation protection and minimization of patient radiation exposure
- Computer and Clerical Skills, Radiographic and patient care skills obtained at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Effective communication skills
Preferred
- Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required
- ACLS
- Prior Epic experience helpful
- Preference given for 1 year clinical experience
- Registered Radiologic / Computed Tomography Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- ND state Licensure NDMIRT
- Preference given to applicants with CT registration
