The posted compensation range of $46.00 - $46.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.
To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the physician and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for the purpose of treatment modification, to maximize patient's potential for functional independence, all in accordance of departmental standards.
- Completes all required documentation and maintains pertinent records of all assigned patients, in order to be in compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, and all other regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities.
- Maintains effective communication regarding Therapy programs and departmental issues.

- Masters Other Master entry level degree in Occupational Therapy, upon hire and
- Either student or prior experience in a Rehab setting
- Occupational Therapist: KY, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
