Overview

The Manager, Clinical Services contributes to the organizational success of providing high quality care by ensuring the coordination, continuity and quality of clinical care following a physician’s approved plan of treatment. Facilitates the completion of documentation to comply with regulatory, operational and financial requirements. Acts as a clinical resource to internal and external customers. Leads clinical teams to achieve key performance indicators and ensures clinicians are practicing at the top of their license. Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve established goals and quality standards.

1. 2. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
3. Works independently with limited direct supervision using organizational guidelines, location policy and procedures, and good judgment.
4. Functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of location and organizational goals and objectives.

5. Is promptly and professionally available to assist all office and clinical staff.
6. Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities.
7. Supports and promotes department, branch and organizational decisions.
8. Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs, customs, or feelings of patients and caregivers.
9. When needed, may also act as a Clinical Educator. In those situations the Manager, Clinical Services must review and adhere to the job descriptions, duties and job expectations of the Clinical Educator.
10. Leads case conferences, summary reports, quarterly record review, annual program review and in-services or special case orientations.
11. All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required Education: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN preferred) or Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) license including compact nursing licensure if needed for neighboring states in good standing to practice in the state(s). Must obtain and maintain current CPR or BLS Certification.

Required Minimum Experience: Two years home care nursing or Hospice experience.
