The posted compensation range of $56.85 - $68.12 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Operates Ultra Sound equipment to provide and document accurate and quality sonographic studies of normal and abnormal anatomy. Performs Ultra Sound exams to include Abdominal, OB, GYN, Small Parts, Prostates and Carotid Duplex Scans.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- CPR BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
- ARDMS Ultrasound required
- Must be a graduate of a Sonography school or be CRT licensed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred
- CRT California Certification or ARRT Certification Preferred
Language Skills:
- Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the hospital.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and how to draw and interpret a bar graph.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
