The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric full-service management service organization structure. Responsibilities

***This position is remote and will work across multiple time zones.

Position Summary:


The RN Manager, Clinical Educator – Care Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing education and training programs for care management staff. This role ensures that clinical teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The Manager collaborates with leadership, clinicians, and other stakeholders to assess training needs, develop educational content, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.


Responsibilities may include:
- Design and implement a comprehensive training program that focuses on the core clinical functional areas the MSO offers as services to their customers. Ensure this curriculum and training materials align to the PHSO / CommonSpirit Health organizational goals and objectives. Update training programs regularly to reflect changes in regulations, policies and best practices.
- Conduct virtual and/or in-person training sessions for both new and current employees as it necessitates.
- Educate staff on the principles and practices of utilization management, care coordination processes to ensure effective patient care and resource utilization.
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of clinical educators as assigned.
- Assign and oversee the delivery of training programs by clinical educators.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities for clinical educators.
- Ensure consistency and quality is maintained in training programs delivered by clinical educators.
- Foster strong working relationships with Utilization Management/Care Coordination staff and providers/external customers.
- Serve as a resource for staff on complex cases and issues related to utilization management and care coordination.
- Collaborate closely with CommonSpirit Health Compliance and internal Delegation management to administer required training and/or educational needs based on audit results or regulatory changes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed. Ensure direct leadership is consistently updated in this regard.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes. and reporting.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a clinical education arena, with knowledge of Utilization Management (UM) and Care Coordination.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory/ management experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Clear and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
