Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Revenue Integrity RN, you will apply your clinical and analytical expertise to support the Revenue Reporting and Systems Department, ensuring cost-effective, compliant revenue generation aligned with organizational values.

Every day you will optimize revenue operations, identify opportunities to improve net revenue realization and cash flow, and serve as a vital resource for internal departments including patient financial services and finance.

To be successful in this role, you will develop reports, provide clinical and financial education on revenue operations, and collaborate with analysts and department managers. Your support across multiple hospital sites is critical for controlling late charges and enhancing charge capture.

  • Access and coordinate data from various hospital and Dignity Health systems for the purpose of opportunity identification, monitoring and reporting of revenue cycle performance from a clinical perspective.
  • Coordinates with other departments including finance, decision support, business office, etc., to develop and generate reporting templates for monitoring and troubleshooting revenue performance.
  • Assist in maintenance of CDM including research of appropriate coding, cost and pricing information, assisting CDM analyst as necessary.
  • Modeling reimbursement terms to determine expected financial impact of process and chargemaster modifications.
  • Evaluate and respond to data/statistical report request from other departments, division, and systems offices.
  • Responsible in the preparation and posting of daily charges for the Cath Lab with a 96% accuracy rate. Performing Charge Reconciliation with the individual departments for any rejected charges on a daily basis.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Current CA RN license Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications., upon hire and
  • 3-5 years experience in the Cath Lab as well as other acute care settings within the hospital., upon hire and
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and


Preferred

  • Experience and/or familiarity in revenue operations, charge entry, and coding. , upon hire
  • Certified Coding Specialist, upon hire
