Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of compounding, preparing, resupplying and labeling of medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. Also, responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions including:answering the phone, waiting on customers, filing orders, billing, computer operating, readying medications for delivery and other related duties.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • CA Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • One year experience working in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
  • Computer skills with office automation required
  • Must be able to float to Mercy Hospital
