Manager Respiratory Care
The posted compensation range of $52.15 - $77.58 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Manages the daily operations of the Respiratory Care Department to ensure compliance to all standards of practice and licensing/regulatory requirements. Develops and implements strategies in operational improvements and/or new services that are consistent with organizational strategic and business development planning.
- Manages existing programs, as well as program development, implementation of new respiratory programs and assessment/revision of existing programs in keeping with a changing health care environment.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the daily activities of the Respiratory Department , including volunteers and respiratory therapy students, to ensure consistency with standards of practice; licensing/regulatory standards; department policies; and service needs of the facility.
- Prepares the annual department budget and ensures compliance to operational expectations and productivity standards.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in related field. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
Licensure:
- License as a Respiratory Therapist
