Responsibilities
The Program Manager for the Art and Spirituality Center and Mercy Hospital Volunteer Services oversees identifying services, developing and coordinating a delivery system for those services, recruiting program facilitators, and organizing a volunteer base to assist in providing services consistent with the Strategic Plan and the Mission of Art for Healing for Mercy and Memorial Hospitals The Program Manager is responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of the Mercy Hospital volunteer program. This individual identifies, develops, and provides services that enable people to enhance their lives and health through art-making activities. The Program Manager is responsible for engaging patients, family members, hospital employees at multiple campuses and members of the general public in a variety of expressive art or creative activities. This individual is accountable for the growth and development of the volunteer services program.This dual role enhances the overall mission of the organization by integrating volunteer services with Art for Healing and the Department of Special Needs and Community Outreach. This position reports to the Regional Director of Special Needs and Community Outreach.
Qualifications
Experience:
Experience in the arts, creative expression, or retreat direction.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree
Licensure:
Current driver's license with valid insurance card; BLS within 60 days of hire.
