The posted compensation range of $31.60 - $39.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.
Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.

- Compiles patient h & p and other records necessary to evaluate the accuracy of patient billing.
- Contacts the physician and/or clinician as needed for clarification regarding the documentation.
- Tracks all new admissions, recertifications, Post Hospital Re-Assesses and reviews the medical record to identify documentation conflicts. Notifies the RN clinician when discrepancies are identified.
- Reviews medical records ongoing to ensure that patient service codes are accurate prior to the month end close.
- Provides patient care as a licensed vocational nurse.
- Attends in services pertaining to the provision of clinical services in order to maintain up to date skills.
Job Requirements
Required
- 1 year of clinical healthcare experience and
- Licensed Practical Nurse: CA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Driver's License: CA, upon hire and
- Auto Insurance, upon hire
Preferred
- one year of home health field experience.
