The posted compensation range of $33.95 - $42.39 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Responsible for anesthesia services at Mercy and Mercy Southwest Hospitals including Operating Rooms and Birth Center. Responsible for all anesthesia equipment and supplies in Surgical Services. Responsible for providing essential nursing care as supporting anesthesia procedures within the Scope of Practice of the Vocational Nurse licensed by the State of California and any other regulatory agency applicable within this facility. Responsible for assisting with the role of Nurse Extender as needed. Provides appropriate patient care according to the age of the patient specifically: neonatal pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality as per Administrative Policy.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of sterile technique Anesthesia equipment, supplies and medications. This includes care and initial repair assessments
- Experience with anesthesia procedures supplies and case preparation is also required
- Anesthesia Technician/Technologist Certification or CA Paramedic License
- ACLS and CPR Required
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
