The posted compensation range of $47.41 - $70.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Imaging Supervisor, you will help our diagnostic imaging departments operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulations, so they can provide the highest quality diagnostic services and an exceptional patient experience.
Every day you will oversee the operations across various imaging modalities (e.g., nuclear medicine, MRI, Radiology), ensuring all activities meet established standards and foster a safe environment. You will be expected to supervise personnel through effective performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and clear communication; assist in developing and refining policies, protocols, and procedures for quality improvement; and meticulously maintain the safety of diagnostic imaging equipment and the overall environment for patients, staff, and the public.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrate a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging regulations and quality improvement methodologies, and have proven experience in personnel management and safety oversight within a healthcare setting.
Job RequirementsRequired:
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing a variety of imaging examinations
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience
- Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure (may require state-specific fluoroscopy license). If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association (AHA BLS)
