The posted compensation range of $35.82 - $47.18 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Completes the duties of a California licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in compliance to California licensing standards and within the scope of clinical skills required for the patient population being treated and as determined by patient age and diagnosis. Performs the clinical duties of patient treatment intervention, patient/family education, and assists the PT in discharge planning within physical therapist clinical practice standards. Reports directly to the department Supervisor or designee. Assists in process improvement and other department operations as requested by the department Supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be licensed in the state of California and have a minimum of 1 year experience in a health care setting
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Must have current driver's license and auto insurance
- APTA or has met the Physical Therapy Board of California equivalency requirements and 3 years of experience in a health care setting.
- Basic skills of a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
