Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an ED Tech, you will provide crucial support and direct patient care in the fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring efficient operations and compassionate assistance during critical moments.

Every day you will expertly assist with patient admissions and discharges, perform vital signs and basic medical procedures, maintain a clean and organized environment, and meticulously document observations to support the nursing staff and physician team.

To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability, strong communication skills, and a calm, proactive demeanor, contributing significantly to timely patient care and a smooth-running ED.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School GED General Studies or Equivalent technical training, upon hire or
  • High School Graduate General Studies or Equivalent technical training, upon hire and
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience and
  • 1 year of emergency department
  • Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire or
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or
  • Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or
  • Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire or
  • Medical Assistant Certification: CA, upon hire or
  • Emergency Medical Technician: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Serving nearly 100,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including heart care, maternity care, and orthopedics.
