Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
- Operation of Cardiac Ultra Sound Equipment.
- Able to perform a complete array of Diagnostic Ultra Sound Procedures as ordered by a Physician.
- Able to select proper probe to obtain excellent results for Cardiologist interpretation.
- Able to trouble shoot equipment in determining possible failure.
- Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
- Transmits digital images to the PACS system for archiving and retrieval of patient information for filming.
- High School Graduate Technologist will have graduated from aCardiac Echo ultrasound program. of 2year experience performing 2-D, M-Mode,and Color Flow Doppler Echo's on adults., upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
